Remedies for Skin Whitening: It is almost crazy among teenagers and women these days to have a clearer complexion. Among these people, some may experience an unbalanced skin tone, such as a darker complexion in the neck, but more fair on the face. While the rest only deals with the pigmentation problems caused by sunburn. In general, prolonged exposure to the sun can cause the skin to become dark, dull and dry. In addition, prolonged use of some chemicals may result in the same way.
We all know that there are numerous skin whitening creams available on the market today, literally, in all the pharmacies and wards to which it comes. Get these products on almost any budget. In fact, television is flooded with ads that urge you to try out sophisticated products that have big claims. But do not be fooled! 60% of products with high claims are loaded with chemicals and, in the long run, will damage the skin. Now, I’m not saying that all products are harmful, some work and others do not. But it is best to avoid products that claim to work overnight, as they can trigger side effects such as the appearance of acne, lack of shine and uneven skin tone.
1: Dried orange peels + yogurt
You can dry the orange peels by placing them under the warm sun until the peels dry and soften. Later, grind the dried dry shells. Mix a tablespoon of this with a tablespoon of fresh yogurt to make a paste. Then apply this paste on the clean face and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Repeat this at least three times in a week for best results.
2: Tomato + yogurt + oats
This is a powerful yet gentle remedy that fits all skin types. All you have to do is mix a tablespoon of oatmeal with a tablespoon of tomato juice and yogurt each. Mix well until you get a thick paste. Apply this to your face as you would with your normal mask and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash with warm water. You can continue with a mild moisturizer for your skin afterwards.
3: Milk + lemon juice + honey
Milk, lemon and honey make a magic potion that clears your skin better than the more expensive cosmetic products. Be sure to use fresh lemon juice for this remedy. Mix one tablespoon of milk and lemon juice in a bowl. Then add a teaspoon of honey. Honey acts as a moisturizing agent that balances the lemon’s drying property. Mix these ingredients thoroughly and apply to clean face. Leave on for 20 minutes before rinsing.
Not only is yogurt delicious, it is also ideal for the digestive system. But that is not all. It also does many favors to your skin as well. Thanks to the lactic acid present in this probiotic, when applied on the skin, yogurt bleaches and moisturizes naturally. Simply spread some fresh yogurt on your face and let stand for 20 minutes. Rinse as usual. Alternatively, you can also try mixing yogurt with a tablespoon of honey or lemon for best results.
There is no better natural whitening agent than lemon! Cut a small slice of lemon and rub it on your face with a circular motion. Allow the juice to remain on your face for at least 30 minutes. Later, it can be washed with warm water. Do this daily for best results. But you should also keep in mind that lemons can dry out the skin. For a natural alternative, you can apply a little honey on your face after trying this remedy to block some moisture. You can also use your regular facial moisturizer.
